Prof. Dr. Ambrish Gupta, is the Principal of Autonomous State Medical College, Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. Under his visionary leadership, the institution is committed to providing excellence in medical education, quality healthcare services, and research, while nurturing competent, compassionate, and ethical healthcare professionals for the nation.

This medical college has been established under the mission of the Central Government of India, “One District One Medical College,” in order to provide tertiary-level medical care, healthcare, and family planning services to the underserved population of India and to promote research for better planning and implementation of national health programmes.

The institution aims to provide world-class medical education to students of the state and the country by developing in-depth knowledge, clinical competence, effective communication skills, and a positive attitude to meet the healthcare needs of individuals and society.
